A tight budget means tough choices for moms.  From clothing to shoes to toys, the needs are the same -- even if the money is not.  The dilemma has lead many families to consignment sales...and one of the biggest is happening this weekend in Southaven.

Rhea Lana's Children's Cosignment sale is this weekend at the Arena @ Southaven.  The "Back to School" event will open Friday, September 3rd and run through Monday, September 6th.  Shoppers can find play clothes, dress clothes, shoes, costumes, children's furniture, and even toys at the sale.  The items are sold at a fraction of their original cost.

International Space Station flies over Southaven

The International Space Station was visible to the naked eye as it passed over Southaven (and the entire Mid-South) Wednesday evening.

The station was traveling from the southwest to the northeast, and was visible from 8:28pm to 8:32pm.

If you squint, you may be able to see the station as a bright speck in the video posted above.

The space station will be visible again this evening for a short period of time.  Click here to use a (complicated) website built by NASA that allows you to track the station.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A Horn Lake man says he didn't try to rape a teenage girl just steps from a Memphis high school earlier this week.

Samuel Rayburn, 67, plead not guilty of soliciting a minor to commit aggravated statutory rape in a Memphis courtroom today.

According to an affidavit of complaint, on May 18, 2010, a 15-year-old girl ran to school and reported that Rayburn, who was driving this yellow truck, had pulled up beside her and offered to take her to school.

The affidavit also says Rayburn tried to get the girl to perform a sex act.

"I think he got to be sick," parent Marilyn Mitchell said Thursday. "Something is really wrong with him."
