Searching for best bargains on Black Friday | Business

Mid-Southerners will be lined up early Friday morning trying to get the best deals during stores’ annual Black Friday sales.

In fact, in an effort to stretch the holiday shopping season a little further, some national chains are ditching Black Friday altogether. The Gap, Walmart and Sears are opening up stores across the country on Thanksgiving night.

Many experts say malls and shopping centers around the nation will be busier than they will last year. One company is even employing satellites to count the cars on the streets and parking lots near shopping malls.
