Southaven police crack auto burglary case

(WMC-TV) - Southaven police say they've caught two men behind a rash of recent auto burglaries, but say the men didn't give up easily.

Police have received 6 reports of car break-ins since July 17. Each crime was happened at service stations and took place while the victims were pumping gas or otherwise distracted. A similar get-away vehicle was also seen seen each time, according to officers.

Police went on the offensive Wednesday and staged stake outs at gas stations near the previous crimes.

Officers spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one used in the crime and watched as one of the suspects broke into a car on Highway 51 and Custer Drive.

Police chased the car, and after a brief pursuit, Julian Bradley and Ladarius Sain were arrested.
