Mississippi is moving closer to outlawing bath salts and other products containing toxic chemicals that some people are using to get high.
A ban passed the Senate Friday and moves to the House for more work.
The bill would ban mephedrone and M-D-P-V.
Officials say the chemicals are sold under such names as Ivory Wave, Bliss, White Lightning, Hurricane Charlie.
Authorities say the chemicals can cause hallucinations, paranoia and suicidal thoughts.
