Male executives wear bras for charity

Five male executives with Caesars Entertainment plan to strut their stuff wearing bras later this month.

The execs will be joined by five male celebrity models in bras donated by Macy's and decorated by Caesars Mid-South employees to raise money for the American Cancer Society in observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event is Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Tunica.

Tickets to the Battle of the Bras event are available at Ticketmaster for a $10 donation. Click here to get to the link.

All money raised will benefit the American Cancer Society with the Caesars Foundation matching up to $25,000.

Local radio personality Steve Conley will emcee the event.

Countrywood Neighborhood Sale

Every year, yard sale bargain hunters flock to Cordova, Tennessee for the annual Countrywood Neighborhood Sale sponsored by the Countrywood Neighborhood Association.

On Friday, September 22, the huge yard event will draw crowds from all over the Greater Memphis area and from neighboring states.

Last year the sale was a huge success. More than 200 residents participated

Rain or shine, the participating vendors will sell their almost brand new or slightly used items from furniture to clothing and televisions to motorized vehicles to make a buck. Not to mention the local economy benefited as people booked hotel rooms for a few days to stay and visit the grand city of Memphis to shop it’s local stores and dine in local restaurants.

Restaurants warned about bogus inspectors

The health department says fake inspectors are calling to arrange restaurant inspections and then demanding payment for the inspections.

The Tennessee Department of Health is warning restaurant owners and managers of fake health inspectors.

That's not how it works!

Family desperate to find missing Mississippi man

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Family members are searching for a missing DeSoto County man they say simply vanished into thin air.

Norman Held, 64, has been missing nearly two weeks, and with each passing day, his daughter, Rose Hall, has more questions than answers.

"What could of happened to him?" Hall asked Monday. "Where could he be? Why would he do this? Why would someone do this?

The grandfather of three was last seen on January 4 at BJ's Barber Shop in Horn Lake, Mississippi.

Suspect shoots Horn Lake man during baby shower

HORN LAKE, MS (WMC-TV) - Horn Lake police have arrested a suspect after a shooting Sunday evening - during a baby shower - that left one person hospitalized.

The shooting happened around 8:00 p.m. Sunday during a baby shower at a residence in the 6000 block of Tealwood. Authorities said the father of the unborn child stepped out into the home's driveway we he got into a verbal confrontation with the suspect, who had pulled up into the driveway.

"The suspect and the victim got into a verbal confrontation with each other," said Lt. Scott Evans of the Horn Lake Police Department. "The suspect got out of the car and shot him once in the stomach."
